I guess anything is possible in the Horse Racing Industry. The owners of "Mine that bird" Calling the owners of "Pioneer on the Nile" to add ( 1 ) extra horse each in a conspiracy to get Rachel Alexander out of the Preakness. Rumor has it that Zayat received a phone call to drop the Conspiracy. I would say that's more true than Rumor. Listen, there has been four attempts by the Filly's in the Preakness. One Filly breakdown and the rest ran 2nd, 4th and 6th. No Filly has ever won the Preakness. The funny thing about this whole mess is Rachel is a Filly! and the Colts should beat them with ease! Right? But, Rachel Alexander is considered the Ruffian of the 20th Century according to the racing association. Lets get one thing Straight, Rachel or any other Filly, by my standards, will never be known as another Ruffian. The horse racing industry needs to take a step back with that Ridiculous comment. If Ruffian was on the Preakness card this weekend, most Colts would have run for cover. Ruffian was a true superstar with a ton of heart. And when Ruffian ran in a race she annihilated every horse in the race and went on to win 10 races in a row and never losing!. Until the pressure from the Racing industry ended her career and life in that fatal match race against foolish pleasure. In 1975 We lost a super star in Ruffian who broke down in the backstretch Facing The Top Colt and Kentucky Derby winner Foolish Pleasure. Of course there is always pressure and greed that comes into play in the Horse racing industry. And once again, come this weekend, we have another Filly looking to make a name for Herself!. And I believe Rachel Alexander is very competitive, but truthfully, who has she beaten? and Rachel is coming back off 2 weeks rest! which is tough on the Colts and especially on a Filly who will be facing the Colts in the 2nd Jewel of the Triple Crown. The Preakness post position draw is Wednesday 5pm Friesan Fire is back in action, 2nd place finisher Pioneer on the Nile, Papa Clem, Musket man. Big Drama makes his return with 5 wins and $890,000 in purse earnings. Big Drama likes to run on the front just like Rachel Alexander. Its gonna be a good one. Bottom line is that Rachel is the Morning line 6/5 Favorite. It would not surprise me if she wins! and would not surprise me if Rachel runs out of the money!. But remember one thing, there are a bunch of 50-1 shots and 30-1 shots that could also rain on Rachels parade. This could be another large payoff if Rachel finds it to difficult against the Colts and packs it in early. I have the same Preakness seats for ( 7 ) years at the top of the Stretch.
