| Al McMordie is the most honored technical handicapper in the country. In 2007, Big Al won the $100,000 World Series of Sports Handicapping and also finished #1 in March Madness. In 2004, Al won the most prestigious handicapping contest in Las Vegas -- The Stardust Invitational. Overall, in the last 16 years, Big Al has garnered 34 NUMBER ONE awards in Football, Basketball, and Baseball; 133 Top 5 finishes; and 250 Top 10 finishes. Al is a featured handicapper both on National TV and Radio, as well as at the most prestigious gambling web sites. Additionally, in 2002, Big Al was featured in FHM Magazine.
In 2000, Al was 157-114 in football, including 10-0 (100%) in the NFL Playoffs. Al has won 12 of his 16 football seasons. Another highlight of Al's career came in 1997, when Big Al was ranked #1 by SPORTS WATCH in College Football/NFL Win Percentage and #1 in College Football Regular Season/Bowls by THE SPORTS MONITOR. Al has one of the best basketball records over the past 16 seasons (winning 13 of 16 years), and was ranked #1 in baseball for the 1996 and 2001 seasons. For consistency across all three sports, you can count on Al McMordie.
Indeed, the Las Vegas Sporting News recognized Al in its December 17, 1996 issue, and wrote that: "[Al's] honesty, integrity, [and] skills...are obvious....We have been impressed by [his] uncanny ability to pick big underdogs that win the game straight-up....We've seen handicappers come and go, and get hot and cold, but no one has been as consistent over time as McMordie, and we strongly urge you to consider him as your handicapper."
Besides being a champion handicapper, Al McMordie is a corporate attorney, earning his undergraduate and law degrees from the University of Michigan. |

At 10:10pm our selection is on the Toronto Blue Jays and the Seattle Mariners 'under' the total. After sweeping the San Diego Padres in their final interleague series of the year, taking the three games by a combined score of 18-6, the Seattle offense has reverted back to its old ways against the American League by dropping the first game of this series on Monday night against Toronto, and getting shut out in the process, 2-0. Home has not been a friendly place for the Mariners this season, as going into Tuesday's game at Safeco against this Toronto club, Seattle was 1-10 in its last eleven games in its home ballpark. Toronto hasn't exactly been setting the baseball world on fire on the road either, going 18-24 away from its home field and it certainly has had its problems against lefthanders with a .233 team batting average against them in 2008. And tonight the Jays will face a pretty hot veteran lefty in Seattle's Jarrod Washburn. In his last four starts, Washburn has a 2.13 ERA but only one win to show for it, as he has not received much run support from the Mariners' anemic offense. Finally, Dustin McGowan has gone 'under' the total in 30 of his last 42 starts, including 14-1 (93.3%) 'under' as a favorite and 21-6 'under' at night. AL Total of the Week on the 'under'. As always, good luck...Al McMordie.

At 9:40pm our complimentary selection is on the Arizona Diamondbacks over the Milwaukee Brewers. Arizona righthander Micah Owings may have lost five of his last six starts, but he has been bothered by a sore back for some of those games, and still hasn't really pitched that badly. He and his team have pronounced him fit for this game, so be prepared to see the Micah Owings that we saw for much of April and May when the 25-year-old went 6-2 with a 3.73 ERA in his first nine starts. The Brewers will send out converted reliever Seth McClung who has been extremely inconsistent in his seven starts this season. McClung rarely gets past the sixth inning in his starts and only lasted 4 2/3 in his last outing at Minnesota against the Twins, giving up nine hits and five earned runs in one of his worst starts of the year. Milwaukee is only hitting .248 vs. righthanders this season. Take the D-Backs. As always, good luck...Al McMordie.
2007 World Series of Sports Handicapping Champ Al McMordie has an AWESOME PLAY on Wednesday's Baseball card. It's an OVER/UNDER selection out of an EYE-POPPING 93.3% Winning Situation. It's Big Al's #1 AMERICAN LEAGUE TOTAL of the WEEK. If you need one BIG PLAY to STEP OUT ON today, this Totals Winner is it! Don't miss it.

Inside Baseball Trends |

Jun 27, 2008 |
Baseball is unique for sports bettors because teams play in very different parks. Some parks are huge, perfect for pitchers (Seattle, Oakland, NY Mets) with large outfields and plenty of foul ground for extra pop outs. Other parks (many more so these days) are small, hitter-friendly places (Fenway, Philly, Pittsburgh, Skydome, Jacobs Field, Houston).
Stats and parks can help some trends s ...

Handicapping Baseball Defense |
|
Jun 19, 2008 |
It's important for a team to have strong defense at key positions such as outfield, shortstop and catcher. Defense at centerfield, shortstop and catcher are where the term "Strong up the middle comes from." Good teams use defense to assist their pitching, turn double plays and help keep team ERAs down.
From a betting standpoint, defense can be linked to totals along with the overall te ...

| Big Al McMordie Money Management |
| I recommend players bet a consistent amount on my plays that is NOT tied to whether their bankroll is increasing or decreasing. For example, a 5* play in December should be worth the same amount as a 5* play in September, even if one has a larger bankroll. |
