A professional handicapper at Team Stryker Sports since 1984, Tom Stryker offers you 25 years of experience. Tom is known for his strong work ethic and his commitment to delivering the best analysis available.
With regards to style, Stryker likes to use the perfect blend of two decades of experience as well as emotional, statistical, and technical support to back up his selections. Back in the early 90's, Tom helped assemble one of the most powerful football and basketball databases in the nation. This incredible piece of software holds over 100 profitable situations with ATS records topping 90 percent.
Located in the Midwest just a few miles from the University of Notre Dame, Stryker is tuned into the Irish as well as the Big Ten and MAC Conferences. College Football, Major League Baseball as well as the NBA and NFL playoffs are considered his strengths. But keep in mind a profitable run can happen at any time in any sport when Stryker gets into one of his capping zones.
In 2000, Tom reached the ultimate peak when he bested over 100 other professional handicappers, and finished the season ranked No. 1 in college football (28-13 for 68.3% record) as monitored by the Sports Monitor of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
In 2001, Tom incredibly repeated that feat by finishing No. 1 in college football with a solid 24-15 for 61.5% mark! To date, Stryker is the only handicapper to win back-to-back college football handicapping titles as documented by the Sports Monitor.
Since going pro, Tom has recorded numerous other Top 10 finishes.
If you’re wondering what Tom has done for you lately, the answer is plenty! Over the past 16 months, Stryker enjoyed a profitable run in a number of sports.
’08 Major League Baseball – Currently Ranked No. 12 - $12,054 Net Profit
’07 NFL Pre-Season – Ranked No. 5 – 8-3 for 72.7 percent
’07 College Football – Ranked No. 14 – 32-22 for 59.3 percent (10-4 on Top Plays)
’07-’08 College Basketball – Ranked No. 12 – 72-51 for 58.1 percent
’07 March Madness – Ranked No. 3 – 23-10 for 69.7 percent

Vince Lombardi, one of the greatest football coaches ever, once said, “The harder you work, the harder it is to surrender.” When you do business with Tom Stryker you can expect three things: experience, professionalism and effort.

#634 TEXAS (-) over Iowa St at 9:30 PM EST
How the mighty have fallen! On January 11th, Texas was the No. 1 team in the nation in the AP poll. Right now, the Longhorns are no where to be found in the Top 25. Rest assured, head coach Rick Barnes will have his troops looking for a little respect over the next few days in the Big 12 Conference Tournament.
UT enters this post season battle off a crushing 15-point loss at Baylor. That blowout actually places the 'Horns in a tremendous wagering situation. Take a look. Since 1990, Opening Round (or "Donkey Round") favorites priced at -4' or more are a spotless 14-0 ATS provided they are NOT playing at home, enter off exactly one straight up loss of 10 points or more, an ATS loss, carry a won/loss percentage greater than .600 and are matched up against a foe that owns a won/loss percentage of .320 or higher. Texas (and Missouri) fit this awesome system perfectly.
Fading Iowa State here shouldn't be a problem. The Cyclones are a weak 6-39 SU and 17-26-2 ATS in their last 45 priced as an underdog including a soft 4-37 SU and 14-25-2 ATS in this role carrying a won/loss percentage of .483 or better. Also, in Big 12 tournament action, ISU is a nasty 1-10 SU and 4-7 ATS when priced as a pooch.
Quietly, UT has cashed 17 of its last 24 coming off a blowout loss of 15 points or more. The 'Horns need to make a statement this weekend and they'll get things started with a solid victory over the Cyclones. Take Texas. Thank you and best of luck, Tom Stryker.

#641 CENTRAL FLORIDA (+) over SMU at 9:30 PM EST
Back on January 27th, Central Florida traveled to SMU and got smashed by the Mustangs 65-43. Rest assured, the outcome of this contest will be much different.
The Golden Knights may have one of the youngest teams in college basketball but these "diaper dandies" can play competitively. UCF has dropped 16 games this season and 10 of those blemishes have come by 10 points or less! In their last four battles against UAB, Marshall, East Carolina and Rice, Central dropped the first three by 12 points combined and walked away with a seven point win in Owl Country in the season finale.
There is a strong conference tournament situation that will help Central Florida's cause here too. In the Opening Round or "Donkey Round", teams that carry the No. 8 seed are a woeful 6-29 ATS provided they enter off two or more straight up losses and their opponent does NOT check in off a blowout win of 10 points or more. SMU is locked into this "play against" system. If our No. 8 seed is priced as a favorite or an underdog of +2' or less, this situation crashes to a woeful 3-26 ATS! The Mustangs apply to this tightener too!
As an underdog matched up against a foe that checks in off a straight up loss, UCF is a profitable 20-9 ATS including a strong 16-4 ATS in this role in its last 20. This baby has upset written all over it. Take Central Florida. Thank you and best of luck, Tom Stryker.

#627 TEXAS TECH (+) over Colorado at 12:30 PM EST
Put me down on Texas Tech. In their regular season finale, the Red Raiders traveled to Boulder and got walloped by the Buffaloes 101-90. TTRR will be primed for a little payback here.
The motivating factor in this conference tournament situation is revenge. According to my college basketball database, conference tournament teams in the Opening Round or "Donkey Round" of their conference tournaments are a phenomenal 61-23 ATS provided they are playing with same season single revenge, enter off back-to-back straight up losses and a pointspread loss last. By adding three additional parameters that will remain for my eyes only, this amazing system explodes to a rewarding 21-0 ATS for 100.0 percent! Texas Tech fits the general situation and the awesome tightener!
If you want to fade Colorado, the time to do it is when the Buffs are either on foreign soil or at a neutral site. In this role running without revenge, CU is a dismal 32-50-3 ATS including a shocking 16-39-2 ATS matched up against an opponent that owns a won/loss percentage greater than .500! With those two parameters combined and the Buffs battling a foe that enters without momentum off two or more straight up losses, this team trend crashes to a miserable 1-13-1 ATS!
In the Big 12 Tournament checking in off a straight up victory, Colorado has struggled posting a soft 4-11 SU and 5-10 ATS record including just 2-10 ATS in this role provided the Buffaloes carry a won/loss percentage greater than .500. Grab all the points you can in this battle. Take Texas Tech. Thank you and best of luck, Tom Stryker.

NFL Late Season Bad Encore

Dec 12, 2009 |
The last four games of the NFL regular season can mean everything to those teams still in the playoff hunt and nothing to the others that have already been eliminated. Novice handicappers could experience a great deal of financial stress at this time of the year. The Las Vegas line is usually inflated on those squads still battling for playoff position. If you invest your hard earned dough on "b ...

50 is the Magic Number - By Tom Stryker
Over the years, I’ve come across a ton of scoring angles. Some are good, some aren’t. The one I’m about to break down for you is one of my best.
It’s simplistic in approach. All I wanted to see was how well a reasonably priced home favorite did after a solid offensive performance on foreign soil. As you know, momentum is huge when it comes to handic ...
